Our story
Built to close the gap between data and decisions.
Beneath Analytics was founded in Carrickmacross, Ireland with a simple observation: most growing companies have more data than they know what to do with.
We kept seeing the same patterns. eCommerce businesses with five analytics tools and no clear picture of which channels were driving revenue. FinTech companies spending three days per week on compliance reporting that should take four hours. SaaS businesses watching churn happen in their data three months before their team noticed.
The problem was never a shortage of data. It was a shortage of the infrastructure, process, and expertise to turn data into decisions. That is the gap we exist to close.
How we are structured
Senior-led delivery.
Scalable capability.
Every client engagement is led by a senior strategist and analyst — the person you meet during scoping is the person doing the work. No handoffs, no account managers, no junior resources after the pitch.
Our implementation capability scales to match your project's complexity, giving you world-class engineering without compromising the oversight and communication your project demands.
We are transparent about how we operate because it is genuinely better for clients — direct access to expertise, EU data standards by default, and delivery that does not disappear after handover.
Our process
Discovery
We understand your business decisions and data gaps. What are you trying to know? What are you currently guessing? What does a good outcome actually look like?
Architecture
We design the right infrastructure for your scale. Not the most sophisticated — the most appropriate. What you need now, built to grow.
Build
We implement analytics, pipelines, dashboards, and automation. All work is documented, tested, and handed over with your team trained to use it.
Embed
We stay until it is working. Iteration cycles, user feedback, refinement. We do not consider a project done until your team is using it with confidence.
What we believe
The principles that shape how we work.
“Dashboards nobody opens are a waste of money.”
We have seen too many expensive BI implementations that became shelfware. We build for adoption, not for demos.
“Data work without a business question is expensive noise.”
We always start with the decision, then work backwards to the data. Not the other way around.
“Most analytics problems are actually process problems.”
Bad data quality, broken attribution, slow reporting — these are symptoms of process gaps, not tool gaps.
“A well-structured brief beats a 30-page report.”
Our deliverables are designed to be read and acted on. If it takes more than 5 minutes to understand, we have failed.
Industries
Where we focus.
We chose depth over breadth. We know the data problems in these industries, the tools that solve them, and the business context that makes solutions stick.
eCommerce
Attribution, conversion analytics, retention infrastructure, customer lifetime value
FinTech
Compliance reporting, risk data pipelines, regulatory visibility, transaction analytics
Retail
Customer analytics, inventory intelligence, operational dashboards, omnichannel data
SaaS
Product analytics, churn prediction, growth infrastructure, usage intelligence
Clients & Partners
We work with companies that take data seriously.
Our clients are typically past the early stage — they have data, they have a team, and they have a clear business to run. What they need is a partner who can bring the infrastructure and expertise to make that data useful.
We work with eCommerce operators, FinTech companies, and digital businesses across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Every engagement is a direct working relationship — no subcontractors, no account managers in the way.
Careers
We are a small, focused team.
We hire people who care about outcomes, not tools. People who want to own problems and solve them well, not maintain ticket queues.
If you are serious about data and want to work on interesting problems across eCommerce, FinTech, and growing businesses — we would like to talk.
